What Are Implant-Supported Dentures?
Implant-supported dentures are special dentures that “snap” onto the dental implants. The dental implants are small metal posts that are surgically placed in your jaw bone. The dental implants act as the roots of your teeth, and when the implants are placed and healed, the denture will be attached to those implants.
Unlike traditional dentures that sit on top of your gums, implant-supported dentures use the dental implants to stay in place. This provides you with a more natural feel and allows you to chew and speak better.
